Eclectically Challenged

Bill Ryder-Jones, formerly of The Coral, has announced the release of his debut album If… on November 15th and, in anticipation, you can listen to Give Me A Name below. Hopefully, the song is indicative of what is to be expected from the album as it really is quite a sublime piece of songwriting. With its delicate piano, dramatic strings and meditative vocals it certainly makes for an affecting, melancholic piece of music. It is, quite frankly, a beautiful and haunting song, the tone of which I sincerely hope is carried over into his first full-length album as a solo artist.
